Ixbalanque offers its students a remarkable opportunity to get involved in the Copán community.

Our school encourages the development of Honduras. That’s why we offer the opportunity for our students to get involved in various activities that promote our development.

Interested students can participate in and support the economic, social and cultural development process in both the urban and rural populations of the Copán region. Your volunteer efforts will truly immerse you in different local activities. Our program can involve you in a wide range of community projects, including ecology and the environment, health, education, religion, and children's issues.

M.E.D.I.C.O Since its founding in 1990, MEDICO has provided basic services to people in need. Founders Lynda and Norm Peters, Jim Durham, and Marian and David Flowers experienced the joy of serving others and wanted to continue giving to those less fortunate.
